webplex app and webplex.link · last updated 19 October 2026

This policy explains what the webplex app (for Android phones, tablets and Android TV) and the website webplex.link collect, why, and how you can have it removed. webplex is published by RampsBD, Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

In short: webplex is the client for a private media server. You can only use it with an account the server's administrator gave you. We collect only what is needed to sign you in, play your videos and keep the service working. We show no ads, we do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

What the app is

The app opens the media library of a webplex server (by default https://webplex.link) and plays the movies, series and live TV channels the administrator has made available to your account. The app itself stores nothing except your sign-in session and a few settings (for example the server address and player volume) on your device.

Information we process

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera or any other personal files. The app asks for storage access only on Android 9 and older, and only when you save a download.

How it is used

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data stays on the webplex server. Video and live TV streams may be fetched from the content sources configured by the administrator; those sources see the server's address, not your account.

Storage and security

Data is stored on the webplex server and sent only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Viewing activity and usage statistics are kept for up to 180 days; server logs for a shorter period.

Your choices and account deletion — deleting your Webplex data

Children

webplex is not directed at children under 13 and accounts are issued by an administrator only.

Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
